Fall 2007 Contest!

Fellow Members of the NJALPA,
Please forgive the little time that this notice brings with it. A recent
computer crash lost addresses and much information.
Please understand and be patient until the records are retrieved or reentered.
This is why our longtime secretary, Jeanne Fugee
could not get a letter out to everyone about the Fall 2007 contest. meeting,
dinner, and election until recently. So here goes.
Categories will include:
Layout Appeal, Pictorial Review, Editorial Excellence, Single Sheet, Newsletter,
Best All Round,
the Jerry Dwyer Memorial Award, the Norma Brigidorio Memorial Award,
and the new Frank Bennett Memorial Award, which will decided by what a
publication has done to promote good public relations.
Please send three entries of each paper for judging.
The papers should have been published between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007.
The contest deadline is October 10, 2007.
Please call Jeanne at 732-730-0795 and tell her that you are sending an entry.
She wants every organization to have a fair chance at entering being recognized
for its literary efforts.

The awards dinner is set for Sunday afternoon, October 21, 2007 at American
Legion Post #60 Rochelle Park.
Tickets to the catered buffet are $15.00 apiece.
